Comment: The Perussuomalaiset (PS) have now turned their attacks against homosexuals in Finland. PS MP Mika Niikko said in tabloid Iltalehti that employers should have the right to know whether their employees are gay.
Ignorance or sticking one’s foot in the mouth PS style?
The suggestion by MP Niikko, who has a murky past with the law, shows that some MPs from the PS still have a long way to go before they begin to grasp the basic concepts of Western liberal democracy.
Here is a link to Ossi Mäntylahti’s blog that exposes Niikko’s murky past and present.
Would an elementary course in civics do the job?
_____________
Perussuomalaisten kansanedustaja Mika Niikko puolestaan sanoo, että hän haluaisi työnantajana tietää työntekijän seksuaalisen suuntautumisen.
I don’t quite understand… what benefits it would bring if the employer would know the employee’s sexual orientation? Do I have to also tell what I do on my spare time or what political party do I support? This is ridiculous.
Hi Jaakko, why not write an email or letter to PS MP Mika Niikko? Ask him why he thinks its important that the employer should know if an employee is gay. I agree with you: totally ridiculous.
Don’t hold your breath waiting for a reply.
Of course an unanswered letter is a useful debating weapon come the next election, but make sure you send it by recorded delivery. With so many foreigners working in the sorting offices, it’s a wonder any letters reach their destination nowadays.
I can see the new standard of job application form: Sexual orientation, favourite sexual position, practice of oral sex, right or left hand while masturbating, etc… an whole new field for applicant selection opened by the PS
and I am wondering… what will they come up with next?
Halla-aho calling for Military Junta to be used against Greek protestors, Helsinki Gay Pride parade was attacked last year, True Finns’ Freddy van Wonterghem saying “the Holocaust was nothing but Soviet propaganda” after which our only Jewish member of parliament got attacked, not to mention all the other minorities who have been attacked since the rise of the PS.
True Finns condone political violence as shown in this recent study http://www.iltalehti.fi/uutiset/2011092014423572_uu.shtml
When will people wake up to this party’s fascism and the danger it is to our society?
Hi BlandaUpp, I think more and more people are waking up to the menace that the PS is to Finland. There might by “normal” MPs in the PS but I haven’t yet seen them. It’s the usual suspect bunch: Halla-aho, Hirvisaari, Immonen, Eerola, Hakkarainen, Tossavainen, Elomaa, Putkonen, who got sentenced for rape in 1990, and now Mika Niikko.
Thats nothing new, green “work minister” wanted that years ago. And she didnt want just that but all.
And blandaUpp, you may want to check your sources since everyone has denied that violence bullshit. Including so called “source”. And btw trashing that bollocks came before 30th when you wrote your message.

Funny how the two wrongs make a right hommaforum tactic can be deployed even though you don’t specify the wrongs that you are talking about.
Or have you just been drinking again? Your weirder contributions tend to appear late on Saturday night.
Justicedemon i didnt say it was right, i just noticed that Enrique didnt say anything when green minister demanded that.

You deployed a standard hommaforum tactic that seeks to convince the feeble-minded. Of course you didn’t say that it was right. You simply tried to deflect attention from it by talking about some other entirely unrelated episode.
But as you have now freely admitted that it was not right, what do you intend to do about this PS Member of Parliament to ensure that his idea is properly censured by your feeble-minded buddies at hommaforum?
Justicedemon, look discussion about that in hommaforum and find out yourself what people in there think. You seem to think that hommaforum is some kind of entity who haves opinions…
I have 0,272 viestiä per päivä in hommaforum and my activity is mainly looking more info as i have black belt in googling.
I just pointed out double standard, green minister didnt want only telling but registering things like race, sexual preferences etc. and enrique didnt write about it.
