The silence of the Finnish government about Israel’s illegal action to stop the Global Sumud flotilla from reaching war-ravaged Gaza, where Palestinians are suffering from hunger, genocide and ethnic cleansing.
While governments from different countries were condemning Isreal’s action to stop the flotilla, Prime Minister Petter Orpo and his government went silent even if there were at least five Finns who took part and were detained by Israel.
The true “value” of Europe
There is a moral death that precedes the collapse of civilization and one day in the near future, when the truth will be told about the morals and values of Europe, it will be very short: none! with a footnote *for they were selective, reserved for the “chosen ones.”
A freedom of looking away, of choosing to dismiss and deny, a mainstream one way of disciple media championing an iron clad tightly “monitored freedom,” the freedom to accept what you’re told.
First they came for Palestine, and I did not speak out because they were far away, and i was told it is not a genocide or maybe it is, but it is not that big of a deal
Then they came for our citizens, and i was told they broke the rule, the golden rule of silence and accepting the narrative. And it is okay, it happened in the sea, far from here, on international waters where international law can be made complicated and irrelevant because our freedom control the narrative,
This could be our version now. The modern silence. A dictated dedicated silence pushed down our throats, suffocating any feelings that are outside the mainstream allowance, for humanity is not allowed if it is not for the selected ones designated in the freedom book. A silence not of helplessness, but of freely “chosen” indifference.
Then came the few brave ones, the ones that broke free and exposed our illusion, the freedom flotilla. citizens of the world, most from Europe, not that it would grant them any benefit since they are a menace to the narrative and the illusion of having “freedom,” “human rights,” “international laws” and all the bla bla bla that Europe boast that it champions (wink wink), they exposed how nothing of it matters, none of them or their countries really matter (they certainly learned the hard way that they don’t matter to their countries), for the truth is those are nice words, unless of course (wink wink).
They carried medicine, baby formula and sailed to say that “their agony is not foreign. It is human. It is ours.” “We will not be silenced.”
Everyone that is part of the freedom flotilla broke out from the script of the European values, because they just are the opposite, opposite in the way that they embody those values unlike the leaders and politicians and journalists (of course with few exceptions)… that just blabber them empty of any truth to them.
Result is another war crime under the Geneva Conventions and the Rome Statute, intercept and detain unarmed civilian crews while on a humanitarian effort in international waters.
The bigger and graver result is silence..
